Don't expect Spike TV to condemn the airing of Ultimate Fighting Championship events on Versus. In fact, company executives think the deal could actually benefit Spike TV. Earlier today, Versus announced it had signed a new contract with the UFC's sister promotion, World Extreme Cagefighting, and as part of the deal, two 2010 UFC events also will air on Versus. Spike TV spokesperson David Schwarz today told MMAjunkie.com that anything that's good for MMA is also good for Spike TV.
