With Strikeforce officials unable to secure an opponent in time for Saturday night's "Strikeforce: Evolution" event in San Jose, Calif., middleweight slugger Robbie Lawler (16-5) has been removed from the event. Lawler had been expected to face Trevor Prangley (22-5) at the event, but the South African grappler withdrew earlier in the week with an undisclosed injury. News of the cancellation was reported by multiple outlets, and MMAjunkie.com has since confirmed Lawler's removal with Strikeforce officials.
