UFC veteran and recent "The Ultimate Fighter" coach Hector Ramirez (8-3-1) has been tapped for a middleweight contest against WEC, Strikeforce and EliteXC veteran Anthony Ruiz (23-13) at Tachi Palace Fights 3. The event takes place on Feb. 4 at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, Calif., and is headlined by a bantamweight showdown between Jeff Bedard (12-2) and Cole Escovedo (14-4). A former light heavyweight competitor, Ramirez will be fighting for the first time at 185 pounds.
